Refunds and Exchange Policy
Skyline Majestics is committed to fostering positive relationships with our customers. We stand behind the quality of our products and are confident they provide an exceptional service and experience. While we encourage customers to carefully plan and book their travel dates, we understand that there may be circumstances where a refund or exchange is required.
Our refund policy for “rentals” or “bookings” is has limitations and restrictions. Please be mindful of our Refund and Exchange policy before commitment to book our properties. Regardless of date and time of booking the rental house, the refund policy stands.
Quotes or Estimates are not a form of Reservations or Booking. They are offered for budgeting and planning purposes only.
Refunds
- Customer reservations and bookings are processed on a first come, first serve basis.
- To reserve the house rental or to “book” the house for a time that is 60 calendar days or more before arrival date (also applies to next season bookings), the customer must deposit 30% of the full booking value.
- To maintain the house rental reservation, the customer must pay in full the remaining balance for the house rental quote, 60 calendar days before arrival.
- Failure to pay in full the remaining 70% balance 60 days before arrival may forfeit your house rental, and a refund may be processed back to the customer, less a $250 cancellation fee.
- Fees mandatory with booking include the following: (a) Rental fee for the rental accommodation, (b) Applicable Taxes, (c) Cleaning Fee, and (d) Security Bond/Deposit.
- In case of cancellation, Security Bond/Deposit, Applicable Taxes, and the Cleaning Fee are always 100% refundable.
- We offer 100% refund on accommodations up to 45 calendar days before arrival/check-in, less a cancellation processing fee of $250.
- We offer a 50% refund on accommodations up to 30 calendar days before arrival/check-in.
- We offer a 25% refund on accommodations up to 15 calendar days before arrival/check-in.
- There are no accommodation refunds 14 days before arrival/check-in.
- No accommodation discounts or booking changes/extensions are given for Late Arrivals.
- “No shows” are non-refundable.
- If purchased as an option, Guest/Resident ID Fees are non-refundable.
- Refunds will be given under the following circumstances:
(a) The National Weather Service orders mandatory evacuation in a “Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area that includes the house rental address” and /or
(b) A “Mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning” area of house rental address, and
(c) the day the National Weather Service orders a “Mandatory evacuation order in a
Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning” area of house rental address, and
(d) Skyline Majestics will refund for the period of evacuation time-frame.
Exchanges
- Should an exchange be desired, customers are entitled to one exchange in the same season as the original booking or an option to reserve in the “off season.”
- An Exchange request must be scheduled within a 12-month period from date of rescheduling.
- We may exchange a customer reservation/booking for different visiting dates, as long as desired dates are available for rent.
- Rescheduling a customer reservation/booking, will cover the same number of nights as the original booking.
- If the customer reduces the number of visiting days, no refunds will be processed for the difference.
- If the customer increases the number of visiting days, they will be responsible for additional accommodation market fees. Full payment is necessary to secure the house rental.
- Once processed, exchanges are 100% non-refundable.
Irrespective of your situation, our priority is to assist our customers with their cancellation and refund requirements. We are also dedicated to exploring alternative options to ensure you get the most value out of your expenditure.
